This new piece is striking in its strength and simplicity. Its component pieces each are an exploration of connection: reaching for, binding to, patching together.
The triptych is stoneware with slips, stoneware additions, high-temperature wire, black and white ceramic stain and steel wire. Each section is backed on wood and wired to hang simply from a picture hook. 
The triptych measures 38"x 12.5"x 1.5" spaced as shown, and works beautifully in either a horizontal or vertical orientation.
