This piece is part of an ongoing series exploring literal and conceptual joining, two component pieces that form a cohesive whole using clay and wire. The piece is slab-built stoneware with slips, high-temperature wire, ceramic stain and post-firing addition of patinaed elements. The piece is backed on wood and wired to hang in two segments on picture hooks. It measures 34"x 16"x 1.5"
