Each component in this triptych is stoneware, backed on wood and wired to hang simply on a picture hook. 
The first piece, Rusty Coils, is stoneware with slips and black ceramic stain.
The middle piece, Rusty Spiral, is stoneware with black slip.
The bottom piece, Rusty Teal, is stoneware with a post-firing oil paint and cold wax surface.
All three include the post-firing addition of rusted wire.
 
The piece measures 45"x 14"x 5" with the spacing shown.
Each of the component squares measure approximately 14"x 14"
